Nick Dickinson and Mark Fry competed at the Cimac Superleague, held in Bristol. Nick dickinson lost in the Boys +5'4" catagory after a good fight. Mark Fry won convincingly in his first fight in senior points -81kg and lost in semi final with a final 4th place standing. He then went on to senior -81kg continuous (not his favorite catagory!), losing in the semi final but winning the third place fight off, taking 3rd standing (and a nice shiny trophy!).

WKA British Championships 2004:
Held at George Carnall Sports Centre, Manchester
, four team members attended.
Results: David Houlston -90kg semi and continuous 3rd (bronze), Connor Stockton British champion semi -25kg, 3rd continuous. Both on GB team for World championships in Switzerland in September.

Te-ashi-do championships 2003:
It was a great turnout for the end of year tournament on Monday 22nd December. The competition itself was broken up into 3 sections. Peewees would start the evening followed by Juniors and then Senior categories. The first category saw Kyle Littlejohns, Calvin Gratton and Jake Burgess all fighting a "round Robin" where each fighter faces both the other two. Kyle won decisively in the first round 10-2 against Jake, showing the sort of technique that got him on the English WKA squad. Jake and Calvin then fought, with the fight ending 3-2 to Jake when Calvin was unable to continue. Results Kyle Littlejohns 1st, Jake Burgess 2nd, Calvin Gratton 3rd. The junior event was more heavily contested, with 8 people entering. The finer points in the category were Nick Dickinson's repeated good use of multiple roundhouses, dispatching Kyle in the first round, then Pete Singh in the semi final and Carla House in the final. Carla had just beaten Chloe Savin, who in her first competition fight, took Carla right to sudden death. Chloe was then beaten by Pete who took 3rd place. Results: Nick Dickinson 1st, Carla House 2nd, Pete Singh 3rd Scores Pete 10-2 against Chloe, Nick 17 (!) 9 against Carla The first ever senior event was a greatly anticipated semi final, with grudge matches on the cards in all areas. Gurmare Singh, back from a long absence, took on Martin Hull, a fighter with scary reach! Just the sort of match Gurmare hates. The result ended in Gurmares favour with his opponent being decided between Gary Wills and Dave Houlston. Dave put on a great show, outclassing Gary with his aggression, and reach. The third place final had Martin narrowly winning against Gary 9-4, with Gary really being put at a disadvantage on range! The final always looked to be close, with Dave using great close-up techniques against Gurmares vicious combinations and exceptional speed. Eventually, Gurmare triumphed over the lower grade by a narrow 7-5 Results: Gurmare Singh 1st, Dave Houlston 2nd, Martin Hull 3rd
